The I-25/Broadway Interchange project has created a large open space in the area below with no plans for revitalization. Neighbors within the Lincoln Street Community would like to propose new a park and overall “Master plan” for the I/25/Ohio off-ramp area known as the “Gateway to the city”. This “Master Plan” (proposed by neighbors), would include upgraded planters and landscape, native plantings, historical markers, a small park, and a community flexible space. The hope is to:
Create a new amenity for the neighborhood.
Create an activated space
Provide a space to enhance the sense of community and social capital.
