HCWPAN Meeting #2: A Look at Transportation and How It’s Changed the Neighborhood

Our August meeting looked at how modes of transportation have dramatically changed in the Wash Park and Baker areas, when most of our homes were built. We delved into the beautiful streetscape of pre-1950, streetcar-connected Denver, and how interstates and highways have impacted our neighborhoods over the years. We leave with a message for hope for the future of our area for potentially restoring the streetcar connectivity our neighborhoods once had.
